As I write this, there are two events capturing the attention of many in America. The first is the Summer Olympic games held every four years, this year in Brazil where Michael Phelps has just won his 23rd gold medal in swimming. The second is the annual summer tradition of the good-time county fair taking place this week in many parts of the land. Aside from the fun games and rides and shows, great works of art and food production and animal husbandry are on display, some with grand prize blue ribbons. In Montana, Tom Lind each year presents the work of artists who happen to have various intellectual or developmental disabilities. Regular categories; no special considerations--just art for art's sake. This year his folks won 28 ribbons.
Michael Phelps and Tom Lind are masters of their craft. Everyone of you reading this is a master, too. But, you say, "I am not a swimmer. I have no talent for art, or any other skill that would indicate that I am a master."
You may not think of it this way, but you are master of your craft, and that is you have in life precisely what your thought patterns have created--principles that as a master you have used all your life to shape your destiny.
"But," you say, "I have a pretty normal life. I'm not rich, I'm not famous, I'm nothing special." The fact is, if those things are important to you, if you had thought different things and seen an alternate vision in the past, you would have a very different present now. You are a master at creating your destiny because you choose the things you think about, you choose how you respond to life's challenges, you choose whether you live life by design or by default. Either way, you are the master.
The principles are as ancient as the Greek philosopher Aristotle, as timeless as teachings of the Bible, as relevant today as the many who speak on it, coach to it and write about it. You can more directly, quickly and powerfully link your mind's thoughts (to CONCEIVE) with your heart's passion (to BELIEVE) to the physical will (to ACHIEVE) to claim all that is good and a blessing to you in your life quest.
We teach a system that puts you on the right path, to direct and control what you are already a master of.
You have had the skill since young childhood; now direct it for a greater good. In doing so you will See the change!
